2006-2010 Design Manager at Partnerships for Schools:
Delivered major BSF school-rebuilding programme (£45 billion) comprising 3500 secondary schools. Served as a liaison with RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and CABE Design Council to achieve best design brief protocols.
- Collaborated with and managed 30 local authority borough clients to develop and implement best design brief strategies and learning environments within programme and budget.
- Streamlined brief requirements by generating new design processes and templates.

2004-2006 Academies external consultant architect
Provided design, technical, and audit cost advice to the Department for Education (DfE) client/local authority. Performed programme, briefing, and design management. Conducted site visits and prepared feasibility studies. Delivered design team feedback and served as sponsor liaison.
- Oversaw architectural design and delivery approach from initial strategy to completion for the City Academies Programme (£5 billion)
- Delivered the City Academies (£100 million) from initial feasibility through to delivery on site for Petchey, Harefield, Leigh, and Waltham Forest Academies
2003-204 Senior Architect at HLM (design and team leader):
Prepared feasibility studies, developed and implemented design briefs, and collaborated with education adviser with the following successful outcomes:
- Served as Team Leader for Bexley Academy Primary and Nursery school project (£10 million).
- Produced a high-quality refurbished and remodelled school design of existing courtyard building.
- Provided design development and production information.
995-2003 LB of Tower Hamlets
Design Leader managing PFI (Private Finance Initiative) for in-house education client: prepared brief and 8 sample reference schemes on project of 40 schools, worked with client assessing bidder schemes, detail implementation with schools on site (£60 million).
- Served as a member of a 12-architect team designing and managing a number of schools and community buildings:
- Prepared feasibility study and design and site supervision for a new school community sports and visual arts facility for St. Paul’s Way Community (£3 million/£250K, respectively).
- Carried out design work and site supervision for Harry Gosling Primary School (£400K).
-Generated outline design brief strategy for Rich Mix Centre, an interactive centre celebrating the multi-ethnic life of the East End of London.
